We’re incredibly proud to be working with WellChild again this Christmas, helping raise funds to support their work.
Our mission at The Book of Everyone is to make the world a little bit more human. We’re trying to do that one personalised book at a time.
So this Christmas, we’re giving the WellChild community a special code to use at our checkout – WISEKIDS2018
It means that £5 from the Wise(ish) Words for Kids we sell in the UK using the code will go to WellChild. And as a thank you from us for helping us support WellChild, we’ll give you free standard shipping. The code expires on the 15 December at 17:00 GMT so there’s plenty of time.
We asked WellChild’s amazing Youth Ambassadors – young people who have worked with or been supported by WellChild – to share some of their own words of wisdom. You can see what they had to say in the images in this blog.
WellChild are the UK’s national charity for sick children. They work to help the over 100,000 children in the UK living with serious illness and exceptional health needs and their families. WellChild’s vision is for all of these children to be supported to live and thrive at home with their loved ones.
They deliver this vision by providing practical and emotional support to children and their families, by funding projects and research to support families, carers, and healthcare professionals, and influencing the public and political discussion to ensure children with serious health needs and their families have their voices heard.
Last year we worked with WellChild to create a gallery of three wise words for kids from an array of amazing people all of whom work in some way or another to support children and their families. Everyone from WellChild nurses to boxing coaches, to lollipop ladies. You can take a look at last year’s gallery here.
